Russia-Ukriane Peace talks, says Belarus

Today is the fifth day since Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine. It leads to major fighting and airstrikes across the country. According to Ukraine, there are 352 civilians killed in the war. Ukraine agreed on Sunday to hold peace talks with Russia at the Belarus Border. Till then, Vladimir Putin directs his defense minister. And chief of the military’s General Staff to put the country’s nuclear forces in a “special regime of combat duty”. In response to Russian aggression in Ukraine, Belgium, Finland and Canada, these have joined the countries that shut down their airspace to Russian planes. Western nations led by the US, announce a new set of economic sanctions on Russia.

The Ukraine President Zelensky rejects Moscow’s offer, when Russia offers commission to Belarus. He said that he was ready to start peace negotiations with Ukraine in Gomel city.

Zelensky said that Russia carries out some of its attacks on Ukraine from Belarus. He is open to talk only in locations that are not showing aggression towards his country. Locations acceptable to Zelensky. It includes Warsaw, Istanbul and Baku.

The statement of Ukraine President Zelensky is “I am ready for negotiations in any country from which missiles do not fly”.

On Monday, Union Ministers Hardeep Puri, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Kiren Rijiju and Gen VK Singh will travel to their neighboring countries. They coordinate the evacuation mission, says government sources.
